After placing the order, I did wonder if maybe I had made a mistake or if I would be disappointed in the quality once it arrived. The packaging was very minimal and a little cheap-looking, and the necklaces had become tangled during shipping. However, once I untangled and removed them from the packaging, I was very pleased with their appearance.
The crystal pendants catch the light beautifully and have plenty of colorful sparkle. The chains were shiny and show no signs of premature tarnishing. Being as how both pendants are on the same length of chain, these could be used for more than simply a mother-daughter gift. The smaller pendant would be more than suitable for an adult or teen. Repackaging each in a more elegant gift box would make for a truly lovely gift presentation. And actually, simply readjusting them in the existing gift box (a quilted turquoise blue cardboard case with a magnetic closure) would be adequate. My only concern, which is very minor, is that mine has 2 layers of pretty large barcode labels on the back of the box which cannot be removed cleanly.
