This set was a wonderful value (I bought it on a lightning deal). The color is a lovely amethyst and the stones were nicely matched in both pieces. The silver was heavily plated with rhodium to give the silver a very shiny appearance. I was pleasantly surprised to find the set smaller than I envisioned. The flower is a bit smaller than the size of a dime. The earring are just the right size to fit a normal lobe, and petite people will find they do not overpower their look. The set is a very tasteful and conservative look.
